Shooting Stars

KUALA LUMPUR: There will be a dazzling display of shooting stars from midnight until dawn tomorrow as a meteor is expected to streak across the sky.

The Perseid meteor shower may also create a fascinating light rainfall, said Prof Mohd Zambri Zainuddin of Universiti Malaya’s Department of Physics.

He said meteor observers could spot about 100 streaks of meteor light across the sky hourly at or near the shower peak which could well be after midnight. — Bernama

We don't need to pretend that the airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars. Coz we gonna have a meteor shower tonite.
